We had a fantastic 2 day trip to Udaipur. We stayed at the famous Taj Lake Palace which is a 275 years old white marble Palace in the middle of Lake Pichola. We also went around the City and explored the Top Attractions in Udaipur.

A Ride in Lake Pichola is a must- do activity when in Udaipur. Sunset is a famous time to go around the Lake, also through to reach Taj Lake Palace the only way is a quick boat ride from City Palace [pickup point of Taj Lake Palace].

Taj Lake Palace has breath-taking Views of the entire City which has ghats on all sides of Lake Pichola.

There are several Photo Stops in Taj Lake Palace as all the arches, domes, gardens , flowers are so beautiful. There is beauty all around Taj Lake Palace.

We tried delicious snacks .

Also the evening sunset views blend perfectly with a cup of tea.

In the evening we enjoyed some traditional Rajasthani dance which is performed in the Courtyard of Taj Lake Palace.

After that dinner was again the special dishes like Gatte ki sabzi and Laal Maas[ mutton].

Also some delicious starters.

After a memorable evening we retired to our rooms and we got a pleasant surprise in the morning a beautiful sunrise from City Palace [ that was the view from our room]

Next day we decided to tour the huge 400 years old historic City Palace , which is a top attraction in Udaipur.

The parts inside the Palace are also beautiful , most beautiful is the Sheesh Mahal. The Palace is so big that you need atleast 2 hours to see inside and also you need a guide to help you know the history.City Palace was built by Raja Man Singh way back in the 16 th centuary and got completed in the 17 th Centuary.

Next we tried the authentic Thali at Natraj Dining Hall & Restaurant.

Nearby to City Palace is also the Vintage & Classic Car Collection which has a big collection of all the Vintage cars .

This is definetly an Instagrammable Place in Udaipur for some great clicks. People who love Cars this place is a Must- Visit.

Kids certainly love this Place.

Then we Visited the Iconic Monsoon Palace for some wonderful Aerial Views of Udaipur, the sunset time attracts lots of crowd at this spot.To reach this place it is a beautiful drive up the hill.

Saheliyon-ki-Bari is the last attraction we explored in Udaipur. It is a series of different kinds of fountains where the women of the royal households use to meet and socialise and enjoy the festival of Holi.

Water flows from these fountains all round the year from morning to evening and it is open for the tourists to see. All the queens used to enjoy here and bathe with their friends.

So in this travel story of ours we have written all our experiences in the beautiful City of Udaipur.
