This charming little Tashi View Point is a perfect place to witness the brilliant surroundings like mountains, valleys and Gangtok itself. This famous tourist point is located at a distance of 8 km from the town and is mostly known for offering some of the best sunrise and sunset views.

While it would still be pretty, visiting Tashi Viewpoint when it is cloudy is not recommended. Have ideas to alter plans according to the number of days you have and visit when it is sunny. There's one restaurant right in front of the staircase that leads to the viewpoint, they serve amazing Gyathuk.

A great view from this place of gangtok city and mount K2. They charge 20 Rupees as parking fees. You can enjoy local snacks and Himalayan view.

An ok view point in order for tourists to click the picturesque city. There's a pocket pinching gift shop and couple of makeshift food stalls along the stairs as you climb up, which you can avoid unless needed very much.

Beautiful place to get a view of the gigantic Kanchenjunga/K2. Visit the place in early morning for experiencing sunrise or in the evening to relax amid the cool breeze along with the sunset
