Let me share my recent Majestic journey to the Himalayas!
So being a beach lover, for a change I decided to explore the hills. It was more special and memorable as it was a Solo Trip without a planned itinerary in hand !
So here goes the itinerary for the Himalayas that i explored !

Day 1-  Boarded Rajhdhani train from Mumbai to Mathura .

Day 2 : Reached Mathura and gave myself a spiritual beginning to the trip. Being a Krishna follower started my journey from Howard Govardhan Parvat which is also known as  Giriraj. Also has some delicious food in Mathura .Here is a Glimpse

Later headed to Mathura Gokul where Lord Krishna spent most of his time later visited the famous Jatipura temple. Then left for New Delhi and boarded the bus for Manju ka Tilla at Himachal Pradesh at 8 in the evening.

Day 3 : After changing transportations reached Kasol at 12 noon. I chose to shortlist a tent stay at a riverside of Kasol. Kasol is one of the amazing hill stations in District Kullu. It is about 26 kilometers from Kullu, on the way to the pilgrim town of Manikaran. It is a wonder to unfold, mystifying the impulses of life and the sense that makes you live. Kasol is a village and a popular destination in Himachal mothered by the Parvati valley. It is known for its thrilling treks, flavorsome food, roaring river and heartfelt humanity.
Had an Israel cuisine for which Kasol is famous for. While exploring the local cafes and market of Kasol I headed to Freedom cafe. After interacting with the localities, one suggested to visit the Chalal Village which is a 2km trek from Kasol.

The route was itself a beauty to glance at. Situated at an altitude of over 5300 feet and a 30-minute trek away from the tourist hub of Kasol . Chalal has managed to retain its old-world mountain village rustic charm. Set in the beautiful Parvati Valley of the Himalayas, with a grand view of snow-capped mountains and majestic pine trees, this quaint town has been nicknamed the "Israel of Himachal Pradesh", and rightfully so! I then headed back to Kasol.
After reaching the tent, it wasn't something pleasing. It was filled with lizards and chameleon.

I immediately checked out and asked the taxi driver for help. And the localities I must say are the true gems of a person. The cab driver came and took me to a decent hotel. The balcony had a mountain and river view was expecting would be 1,500 Rs to mine shock it was just for 600rs only so kept Luggage and went for quite bites. So then I headed to the local markets of Kasol and as per the Taxi driver's suggestion hopped for some quick bites at a Cafe. Ended my day with an excitement for the next day trek to Kheerganga.

Day 4 : As I woke up the scenery was a must to see for any metropolitan citizens. It was raining and there was snowfall. As soon as woke up came to know that it's raining and snowfall at kheerganga which is risky for the trek. So dropped the plan and decided to explore new places close by. The same driver again came for my rescue to guide me for further alternative. So he said two of must visit place near kasol are Manikaran and Tosh. And so I began with my Day 4.

I started with manikaran. Taxi driver took me to Manikaran. About 5,700 ft from mean sea level, Manikaran lies next to the Parvati River. The river gets its name from mythological stories connecting it to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati and Guru Dhawara and hotspring, temple, gurudhawara and hot cave. The mesmerizing view surrounding the beautiful temples, Hotspring with Along with Parvati River flowing parallel making  and combination of Hotspring and Cold river  will give you the ambient environment you always wanted to visit. The peaceful environment around this temple is the greatest boon given by nature. This place offers a perfect spiritual getaway for the city dwellers to find peace of their mind back again. I then headed towards the village named Tosh. The road to tosh from kasol is a in very bad condition it was just sand. Every turn would scared but the view out was amazing snow cliff mountains.

Snow cliff mountain excited me more and made me forget the scary road. So the Tosh Adventures are always fun and liberating, and the Tosh Valley trek is definitely a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Tosh, known best for its lush green valleys, snow-capped mountains, beautiful flora and fauna, breathtaking waterfalls, and enchanting gorges, makes it a splendid place for you to explore the scenic beauty of Himachal Pradesh.

So from parking to tosh was a trek cum trail of almost 2 hours it has a waterfall at the end of village. Trust me the way was so soulful and the destination just vanished away all the day long tieredness. I took a chance to sit and embrace the beauty in heart and without realising when the time flew. While returning went to Freedom Cafe for grabbing meal. Post that didn't know what to do or where to go as had already checked out from kasol and next destination was undecided so after seeing the snow cliff mountains which excited more, asked driver where would I get to witness snowfall. So he said there is a place named Shirshu which is near manali and have got fresh snow so not wasting further time said him to take me there. Before reaching manali cab driver got a call from another cab driver for informing that road to shirshu was closed due to fresh snowfall. So driver dropped me at manali as it was late evening and no option left as was roaming with luggage so again he help to get a good deal 2,000rs room got for 1,000rs, it was amazing as view from window had river and mountains. Must say the cab driver from kasol was very helpful. Wanted to continue with him but due to their union restrictions he referred another person. So that day settled in room and went to explore mall road or manali market and it was 5° amazing climate so while exploring market. Having a soft creamy softy ice-cream in 5° temperature was thrilling. The driver then guided me the next day plan.
Day 5 :  So post breakfast started Journey so we passed through Atal tunnel .

Atal Tunnel (also known as Rohtang Tunnel) is a highway tunnel built under the Rohtang pass in the eastern  range of the Himalayas a length of 9.02 km, it is the longest highway single-tube tunnel above 10,000 feet (3,048 m) in the world. BRO board road organization has done their so well. So there is spot at end of tunnel where you can take pictures of mountains and beauty. While heading to Shirshu for the snow the cab driver suggested a better place named Koskar which In spiti valley and which had more snow then shirshu and lesser tourists. Its an under rated place which increased excitement and said him let's go. During the journey made a good bond with him and came to know he was too young  and made very comfortable talking a lot and we reached Koskar Spiti District. Koksar is one of the villages in Lahaul Mandal in Lahaul and Spiti District in Himachal Pradesh state in Northern India. About 19 km from Rohtang Pass, Koskar is the coldest place in Lahaul. Trust me no words to express the beauty. We surely have better spots.in India than Europe. The beauty brought my inner kid out. I played with snow, made snowman threw snow and rolled it was really very much fun. After having fun for hours left the place with teary eyes as didn't wanted to leave.
On the way to manali visited Solang Valley.

Solang Valley is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Himachal Pradesh. Situated on the way to Rohtang from Manali, every year the valley welcomes tourists in huge numbers. A favorite for adventure enthusiasts, parachuting to paragliding, horse riding to driving mini-open jeeps specially available for tourists of all age groups, Solang Valley has it all.

Left with lifetime memories to another destination Baddi. Took a bus to Baddi from Manali.  Its a commercial place in Himachal pardesh.

Day 6 & 7 : Reached Baddi early morning and went to hotel as got fresh and excited to explore baddi but excitement didn't lasted more and was feeling feverish as from -5° at koskar and baddi had 20° temperature so had to take rest. Luckily had carried all medicines for emergency which I do in every trips and it was solo trip so was more cautious. So whole day and next day till afternoon went in resting and recovering. So afternoon took a cab from Baddi and headed towards Chandigarh late evening reached ChandÄ«garh and before dropping to hotel cab person took me too Lake in Chandigarh it was so beautiful as it was a sundowner which made it more prettier.
Had some finger licking chaats and momos there.

While going hotel checked some train to Mumbai so from Chandigarh to Mumbai trains take times so booked ticket from chandigarh to delhi and from Delhi to Mumbai.  So booked tickets train from chandigarh to Delhi was at 12 and from Delhi Mumbai was at 3:30. Booking was done and while doing Booking reached hotel also this time had to negotiate for hotel got a deal but rooms were average and compromised as it was near markets. Day 8 : Had decided to visit famous Rock gardens in chandigarh before starting journey towards Mumbai so early morning at 9am reached garden, the beauty surely didn't disappoint as it was a mater piece created from all waste materials and few man made waterfall and everything took one hour to visit whole place but it was amazing didn't realized that it was one passed. So left around 10:15 am and wanted to have special sarso da shag visiting chandigarh and not having that would be incomplete tour. So again asked auto driver to take at of the best place so he took to ''Nukad da Dhabba'' which is quite familiar among Celebrities also. And didn't disappointed as food was finger licking , post lunch started to go to chandigarh and end Journey.

Was very shocked to know that the auto fare was just merely 400rs as it was too less when offered more to auto person he denied. Said sir jyaad nahi lenge hum. Was impressed and he dropped to station and train was super express and super fast and fare also cheap merely 500rs and as it was private train by IRCT it was giving a luxury feeling.

Took lots of experience of some good and helpful localities and also more coz it was first snow experience and some unexplored beauty of India. Would recommend to visit once if you love mountain , snow , the chilly winters and natural beauty.
