Great Kopi, not so good service and mediocre toast

I really couldn’t properly rate this place - I love the kaya toast - I will give a 5/5 but the overall cleanness - I would rate 2/5 and indeed they get a B. I fully understand can’t help it as it’s an old shop. Service is decent, they try to sit us fast and get our order fast, but as the place is maintained supposedly by the same service people - I can’t give them high rating 3/5. The half boiled eggs has to be beaten ourselves - and not entirely the best beautiful eggs I have eaten. Good enough though but still the cleanliness.

Bread well toast but not enough butter and kaya. Egg is good. I don't drink coffee so no comments. But still I think its not good enough to travel all the way here.

This is my regular place for traditional 煮炒. Have been there for 6-7 times and it never disappoint me. Must try: coffee pork ribs, scallops rolls, tofu clay pot, Hong Kong 炒面, 鱼鳔羹

It’s really shocking to face such extremely rude staff. Came with my toddler and baby. The place was around 10% capacity or less. Staff insisted on us having to seat on a small table that was filled with their clutter citing that their dinner crowd is coming (4:30pm). When asked to clear the clutter before we sat down, the staff just threw the things off the table. I loved your food, but the attitude is not worth it. Farewell
