Just to have my lunch there, as it is not crowded as compare to the nearby mall. Nice thing about this place is there is a small gallery displaying antique cameras and memorabilia of Cathay's history.

Description
The new Cathay Building was constructed behind the Art Deco frontal facade of the old Cathay Cinema, which was gazetted as a national monument. The Cathay is a mixed-use 17-storey cinema, shopping mall and apartment building located at Handy Road and Mount Sophia in the Museum Planning Area of Singapore.

Cosy place for a get together. And if it's a weekdays you are able to visit a special museum about the showbiz tycoon. Many good displays of past collections.

A great place to catch a movie if you do not like crowded places. A few decent f&b offerings.
