Stayed one night at M Social Hotel last Sunday. It is a contemporary boutique hotel with Loft-Style rooms, in Robertson Quay area facing Singapore River. The entire hotel premise is very clean and neat with arty-farty design. Generally, the staff are friendly and helpful. The room which we stayed is very tiny with not much storage space, but the design is trendy with loft celling

When checking in into the room, there is some hint of tobacco smell but it was just minor and I did not bother about it, but when I come back to the room after dinner, the tobacco smell inside the room become worsen and I talk to the front desk about my problem they told me the hotel is fully booked, they offer me some fragrance spray but It’s not effective. Second time I talk to the front desk and they send a technician to look at the air condition but the technician ask me to keep the door open . Third time I talk to the front desk I request for refund and I pack up my stuff Leaving the hotel at midnight . Yes, it’s a non smoking room.

By far the worst experience i have ever felt during a staycation in singapore. You are a 4 star hotel but a 1 star staff service. Me and my wife was wrong to think that this place would be a good place to chill. Upon arriving, there was a queue for check in. And the staff told us that waiting time was for an hour. Like we already book but we still had to wait for our rooms ? Because of that our plans all had to change. Secondly, when we checked into our rooms, thinking everything would be fine, nope ! We found out that there was no towels provided. Thankfully i brought an extra towel whick me and wife had to share. Called in to the front desk today morning, which took forever to pick up. All we wanted was them to send up towels for us. But nope until, 6pm then we received the towels Is this even a way you all treat a guest in your hotel ? How did you all get a 4 star for this kind of service ? Best thing, no recovery service for given to us when all this happen. Worst hotel/service ever. Hopefully they will look into this and change things around.

Great room for couples. But location not so ideal for staycay. Check in process was a little slow but check out was great! Fork and spoons not available in room. Need to collect from restaurant which I think may not be the best arrangement. Nonetheless the room was great and comfortable. Very clean!! Good place for me to do a short staycay and do work at the same time!

Overall positive experience of stay with family, clean room & enjoyable amenities. Front desk staff were very helpful and warm too. Great area to explore the city at night.
