Clarkes Hotel - Shimla    Share

Beautiful heritage hotel with excellent ambiance throughout the property. We were upgraded to a bigger room with beautiful drapery and nice views. Comfort- 10/10 (especially the bed and pillows!) Bath/shower- 10/10 (hot water and pressure were amazing) Amenities- 9/10 (hygiene products were great but expecting a little something special for the price and quality of the hotel, like a bath robe or fine chocolates or something) Heater provided which made our stay much more comfortable even in October. Staff was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Food is expensive but presentation and taste exceeded our expectations. So delicious! You get what you pay for. Getting to the hotel was a little confusing at first, but once inside we were greeted with their specialty apple cinnamon tea. Overall: expensive luxury treat for special occasions, but worth the stay!

Hotel and restaurant with parking

This is one of oldest hotels in Shimla and hence a heritage property. Under the Oberoi group, this property promises the best hospitality. The property is located at one end of mall road - towards the high court - which is quaint as compared to the other parts of mall road. The food is sumptuous and the hotel staff is very helpful.
