Auroville is an experimental township in Viluppuram district mostly in the state of Tamil Nadu, India with some parts in the Union Territory of Puducherry in India. It was founded in 1968 by Mirra Alfassa (known as "the Mother") and designed by architect Roger Anger.

Superb place... Isolated, calm, serene.... Perfect for spending time with oneself in the lap of the nature... Greenery is awesome! Maintenance is good! Be mentally prepared to walk almost 950 meters after parking your vehicles at the first place but believe me, that walk is so soothing! (If you love to walk). And if you have some money, there are some boutiques to shop from!

Interesting place , a bit strange ... impossible to visit the temple without spending a week in pondichery or in Auroville and you have to go twice : one for the booking and come back for the visit . Really not convinient. The restaurant veg is good and organic. Shop are nice but not cheap

It's good. I didn't get pass to go inside. So I saw from a distance or u can say from a view point. If u are planning to visit then please check pass availablity or book it pass bcos there are only limited tickets.

It's serene... Nice shops r dere though a bit expensive... But has nice products
