This is a fascinating building, the workmanship is amazing. Whilst waiting at the top of the steps for the OK to descend, keep your ears and eyes open as you may see the free minibus looking for visitors to board. This way you get to pass the stacked sawn trees that will be used on the building. So many beautiful places to catch great photos. Only downside is that visitors are asked to wear "respectful" clothes, pictures give a clear indication of what is not acceptable, but is regularly ignored.

Plenty of parking space. Vendors (food, drinks and accessories for hot days) are nearby. Prepare hats or umbrella on sunny day. It can be really hot.

This magnificent golden image if the sacred Buddha embedded into n the mountain radiates to every person visiting the place. It is an amazing work of art and you can't help but think of how they have been able to scrape the side of the mountain and laid the image. The place is one of the tourist bucket list must haves. It nice to be back here in the future.

Great view and nice mountain with Buddha. Do not understand why they barricaded some areas in the walk path. Aside from that everything was good.
