Nothing really special here. It's just a beautiful corner in the park, but most of the time closed. The big Buddha, the biggest Buddha in Europe as I know, seems a fake and cheap reproduction of a Tibetan statue.

The Pagode de Vincennes is used by Buddhist schools of the Parisian region and has no religious leader. The pagoda is a place of common worship; it shelters the biggest Buddha of Europe, covered with gold leaf and measuring, including its seat, more than 9 meters high.

The coffee of the day was brilliant, never had Indian coffee before. The man dealing with me spoke brilliant English and was incredibly friendly. Would definitely recommend!

The Great Pagoda, Paris. We went to visit the statue because we were in the area, but didn't know there was a relic of the Buddha on the same site. There are frequent events, typically at weekends and public holidays, if you coordinate your visit with a festival it might enrich your experience. However in every case the statue and relic make this one of the most important Buddhist sites in Europe. There is space to meditate but bring your own cushion.
