The Petit Palais is an architectural gem dating back to 1900, situated on the avenue des Champs-Elysées. The building, which like the Grand Palais opposite it, was built for the Universal Exposition and houses the Musée des Beaux-Arts de la Ville de Paris.

This is a great visit, and free entry for the substantial main collection which is a contrast to other Paris art attractions, although because of this it can be busy sometimes, but not always. Special exhibitions are run alongside with modest entrance fee. Just off Champs Elysee, its easy to find.

Right across from the Grand Palais, beautiful location to take a good picture. A lot of good walking paths as well as bikes and scooters close by you can hop on and off as you venture throughout the city.

A wonderful palace with an internal garden with an open cafe. This place can be visited for free. I highly recommend to everyone visiting it. Fascinating place

Petit is an understatement -this museum is amazing. Following the name, I took a visit of only 2 hours. I will come back soon to complete the experience
