One of my favorite art museums ever. Staff is funny and nice, art is strange and interesting, and the performances are great. The building itself is very cool and original too. I always come back whenever I'm in Paris.

The Palais de Tokyo is a phenomenal contemporary art exhibition space. It's 100% temporary exhibitions, no permanent collection, so your experience will vary wildly. But every time I've been there I've been blown away by the exhibitions. I'm a huge contemporary art fan, and this is a MUST GO location every time I visit Paris. It's also right next to the Modern Art museum so you can get both done in one visit. The Palais de Tokyo is also open pretty late (till midnight often) so it's a great way to get this in after other museums close and has a cool atmosphere at night depending on the exhibit.

This has to be the dopest museum I've ever visited. The curators are always on point with the art on display and it's always fun to visit and see what's new. The location is great for getting around before or after seeing the city, and wandering outside you can find great places for photo ops. Gott a love the Palais de Tokyo

When I am walking through a museum I look for consistency - are all parts of the museum adding up to the consistent whole that builds a brand. Museum attracts their own audience and for Palais Tokyo I was definitely not impressed. Every time I visit a museum I set a very high expectation, below are some of the points to ponder which would help the future visitors. 1. Price - it’s not fairly priced. It seemed that the artworks were done by amateurs especially he execution. 2. Exterior architecture - it was good knowing that the building was a also very historical. 3. Threshold -there is no sense of new experience. 4. I’m very sensitive to museums which makes me feel stupid which in this case it felt roaring. There is no unified message nay clear & museum voice 5. Look & feel - the exhibition doesn’t have its own look & feel and the arts was not communicated properly. 6. Collection- the collections didn’t meet the expectations set by the experience or what had been marketed and it didn’t played the context. 7. Area to area- I try to think big to small, the first gallery didn’t gave me a good sense of the overall museum. This are my own opinion and this review were based on my own experience at the time of my visit.

A neat spot for contemporary art in Paris. Far from the usual crowds, it was a place for discovering new voices and seeing new ideas. One downside: no air conditioning, which was kind of tough on a sweltering summer day.
