The Palais definitely offers one of the best views of the Eiffel Tower in the city and panorama around the site. Because of how well-known the Palais is to tourists, it does get really busy during the day and it could distract from the beauty of the Palais and it’s a little difficult to get a nice photo with the crowds. However, it’s a must-see spot to visit in Paris and coming here in the early morning around sunrise would be the best time to visit and avoid the crowds.

Highly recommend coming here to take a picture of the Eiffel Tower if you want it in full glory. Can get very busy with so many tourists. Beautiful fountains and the building is impressive. Street traders are an issue though with many trying to harass you for sales and money.

This is the best place to grab a picture of the Eiffel Tower. From the terrace you can capture a picture of the whole tower at once. There is much more here than just a photo opportunity. The buildings are a series of museums that have a varied collection of both permanent and changing exhibitions. Easily reach by Metro - Trocadero stop.

Likely its the best place to take a photo on the Eiffel tower on background. Also you can see the whole tower from here without turning up your head. If you want to see the lights in the evening - good idea to do it from here. The amount of souvenirs sellers is greatly smaller than close to the tower. So you can enjoy the Paris here almost without disturbing.

There are a number of places in Paris. This one is small enough to visit in half day. Still is beautiful to see. Good view of Eiffel Tower
