Step inside this den of magic and an unknown universe! The museum of magic (established in 1993 by George Proust) is an incredible place that showcases everything to do with the art of magic, conjuring tricks and illusions from the 18th century to present day. In the museum’s seven rooms, you will find a large collection of magical objects: magic wands, secret boxes, magicians’ hats… as well as posters, engravings and ancient items, providing a history of the magicians. All kinds of surprises await you during your visit, among which are ongoing shows, both for adults and children alike. Another museum worth visiting in the same place is the Musée des Automates, where there are more than 100 robots to keep you occupied!

This place was brilliant. Interesting automata, a decently performed magic show and optical illusions and props. Great value, would highly recommend a visit if in Paris.

An unexpected delightful experience! The museum is small, but people working there are passionate about the world and the history of magic. They gave us a detailed tour of the museum and shared with us some of the magic of the place. There is also a beautiful collection of automates! We also attended a magic show that delighted and amused both kids and adults!

M’amuser beaucoup. Très bonne musée. The magic show is so accessible even for a foreigner who doesn’t understand French very well can enjoy.

A small and unusual museum of all things magic. The magic show was fun with a participant from the audience. There was a hands on animatronics section with buttons to push. The children there seemed to like this. There were displays like you would see at the circus with the funny mirrors. Lots of hands on interaction. Great for kids and adults.
