Tour Maine-Montparnasse (Maine-Montparnasse Tower), also commonly named Tour Montparnasse, is a 210-metre (689 ft) office skyscraper located in the Montparnasse area of Paris, France. Constructed from 1969 to 1973, it was the tallest skyscraper in France until 2011, when it was surpassed by the 231-metre (758 ft) Tour First. It remains the tallest building in Paris outside of the La Défense business district. As of February 2020, it is the 14th tallest building in the European Union. The tower was designed by architects Eugène Beaudouin, Urbain Cassan, and Louis Hoym de Marien and built by Campenon Bernard. On September 21, 2017, Nouvelle AOM won a competition to redesign the building's facade.

Undoubtedly the best views in Paris of Paris. Evening views are just as spectacular as day time. At 59 floors up, the out door advantages can be quite windy. There is glass shelter all around that provides some cover from above too. Well worth the cost.

With a height of over 200 m definitely one of the top view points in Paris. Open until late ( a bit shorter during winter). Wonderful scenery at night time with the Eiffel tower, which is relatively close. The elevator is very fast. At around 21.00h there was no queuing. At the top you can find a small gift shop, an info desk, binoculars, some plastic chairs and some nice animation (3 min.) about the historic development of Paris (looks like one of the binoculars)!

One of the best views of the city of Paris. The tower is located very close to Gare Montparnasse stop. Getting to this place is very easy irrespective of where you are in Paris. The view is from 56th floor but you can actually climb around 50 stairs to the top where there is an open area and even better view. The coffee shop is reasonably priced. The gift shop is average. Overall a great place to visit during dusk to see both light and evening hues of Paris!

If you wish to see Eiffel tower from a top view, then this is the best place. During nights, the view of Eiffel tower and the city view is simply stunning. Even the hourly sparkling from the tower is best viewed from here.

This is definitely a view you should see when visiting Paris, especially around sunset and into the blue hour. Also there is openings in the glass that make it easier to take photos which aren't obstructed. Make sure you bring a coat in the colder months as it's very chilly. Summer you may need one too if it's windy. There is also an indoor and outdoor section so if you wanted you could just stay in the warmer section.
