La Comédie Saint-Michel is a new private theater located in the heart of the 5th arrondissement, within a triangle formed by Saint-Michel, Mouffetard and Montparnasse, with 2 performance venues: - A room with 140 seats - A room with 60 places The theater is located in a lively and commercial district, frequented by many students, near the Sorbonne, Censier, the Ecole des Mines. During the day, the proximity of the Luxembourg Gardens makes this area a place for families to stroll, ensuring high visibility for the program. Our artistic line is essentially oriented towards comedy, with shows carrying a background, dealing with social subjects: a program open to very diverse themes, whether serious, squeaky or just light and entertaining. The quality and inventiveness of the productions are essential criteria in choosing our programming. It is open to different genres, ranging from contemporary comedy to cabaret through the one man show. Through its small room, the Comédie Saint-Michel is notably a place to discover new talents and promising shows, whether they are premieres or covers. Children's shows also hold an important place in our programming during the afternoon slots and during school holidays.
