The Cinéma du Panthéon, as its name suggests, is located near the Panthéon, in the heart of the Latin quarter. Built in 1907, it is one of the city's oldest cinemas. Film lovers gather there for a programme of films, film clubs, debates, meetings between film-makers and critics, etc. Le Salon, decorated by Catherine Deneuve and Christian Sapet, and its heated terrasse are great for something to eat before or after the showing.

If you have a chance and you're a movie buff, then visit this cozy movie theater. You'll find some new releases but I suggest seeing a retro film if you can. Make sure you take advantage of the tea room.

My parmentier au canard was absolutely delicious. The vibe is very cool as well. The service was really slow though and the bread old.

Quiet and nice location for lunch or afternoon tea

A hidden cafe/bar above the theater is a great idea. The space is large and spread out, with an outdoor terrace in the back (open ceiling). The menu is short, and lacking in cocktails that you might expect. It is quite, and could be a nice place to get some work or reading done, or to catch up with a friend.
