Pieter Both, sometimes referred to as Peter Botte Mountain, is the second highest mountain of Mauritius, at 820 metres (2,690 ft) tall. The mountain is shorter than Piton de la Petite Rivière Noire by eight metres. The top is flat and about two metres across.

Great track but can be it quite dangerous in wet conditions. Please use a guide or experienced climber if you want to go to the top.

Very nice place with amazing views. Starting point is La Laura town. At the end of the Pieter Both Road. Challenging path so you need to be in average fitness. There is a point around the 600m altitude where you need a rope since it becomes an unnecesary risk to continue without one.
