Ile aux Cerfs is a picturesque island spread over 87 hectares of untouched land off the east coast of Mauritius. It is famous for its white sandy beaches, its turquoise lagoons and for the wide range of restaurants, water sports and land activities on offer.

It's a privately owned island near the east coast of Mauritius. There are lots of water sports and mouth watering dishes are offered by various restaurants over there even one of them is typically Indian restaurant. The island is beautiful and it's nature at its best. We enjoyed the trip very much and recommend others to visit the island.

I don't understand why this island is so famous and popular. If you don't want to experience some water activities like "banana boat" it's useless to come here. There are so many beautiful beaches in Mauritius. Here you risk to be injured by a stone fish while walking on the beach. A big part of the island is private property (golf course) and around midday the island is already overcrowded.

A really phenomenal golf course. Only accessible by boat. Good practice facilities. A true test of golf for all golfers with different tees for high and low handicapped golfers. Great risk and reward holes and the course is in excellent condition. Many memorable holes. We played on a day with strongish winds which made it even tougher. I'll be back!

Very good half day or one day tour. Reaching the island is not super easy if you arrive with rental car because parking is not straight forward. My suggestion is to go down the road until the boat harbor, you are forced to turn left and then go straight until the road turn right and starts to go up, here if you turn left you will find a free parking that is typically covered by leaves but is a parking. Be careful when you book the boat because they are trading to sell speed boat to tourists, more expensive for not a different service. The island is very good but you would need to find the right spot because of the shallow water not allowing good snorkeling.

The most beautiful and peaceful island next to Mauritius...i have never seen such a beautiful beach with every color of blue and azur, and perfect sand. This was my favourite of all i loved it ❤
