Description
Il Forno is a family-run authentic Italian Cuisine Restaurant set in the midst of an exceptional apple orchard surrounding offering stunning views of the Himalaya. The ancestral lodge originally christened ‘Kedar Cottage’ was built Circa 1860 in the Western Himalayan Kathkuni architecture style, complete with wraparound balconies and verandahs. Being one of a handful structures that survived the ravages of the Kangra Earthquake of 1905, the Cottage enjoys considerable architectural significance. Il Forno has been a Manali institution from way back. Honest-to-goodness meals are served in a rustic mountain setting with little fuss. Wood-fired oven Pizzas & Calzones are our House Speciality, along with other traditional Italian dishes. Majority of the greens come from our own kitchen garden, while the rest are locally sourced. You can look forward to Soul Food served with love in a snug country setting. Indoor & al-fresco garden seating is available. Café - Cafe. Approx cost for two people Rs 200

Love the food here! It's the most authentic Italian food I've had. The ambience is pretty good too! Must visit on a trip to Manali.

This restaurant is very cozy and the view are nice. And the service is also good. The toilet is very clean and tidy. The pizza is awesome and I like the Tiramisu is very tasty.

Amazing location gathering towards lots of tree and beautiful mountain view .Also a good food facilities .
