To get rid of dust, smoke and pollution of the city one must visit this green park . This park is very popular among young couples as it is a free place to show love and affection. Apart from this boating is also available in this park. It's a good place to have picnic also. But picnic must be completed within 5 p. m. as the closing time is 5:30 p. m. I like the most of this park is its environment. Fresh oxygen will refresh anyone's mind.

I went for picnic. Huge arrangement for more than 20 groups. Spot charge is economic but problem with cleanliness. Only one general toilet. Parking charge is Rs. 50/-. People can go there without group with Rs. 25/- per head. For picnic, people can take their own food arrangement. Cooking is allowed there.

Great place. Oxygen cylinder of South Kolkata. Grassy lawns, huge lakes, neat and clean arrangements, boating facility, privacy all within one place. There are several picnic spot booking plots in the park, where one can book their place to arrange a small family picnic. The streets between the trees will make you feel shiver with amazement. A must visit in Kolkata.

Not for children because adult people spoil this area by their unnatural activity on public place. In the other hand there has boarding option. Many animals are there. Its also has picnic spot . Many people go there for picnic in winter vacations. Beautiful garden.

Wow! A great place with great lakes and views. The ambiance is very eye soothing. U can do boating here which give u a great pleasure just for Rs 25/30min. Entry fee is just Rs 25/-. U can see many kind of birds here too. A really great place to spend some time with ur special people.
