Mother's Wax Museum is a wax museum located in Action Area - II of New Town, Kolkata, India on the 5th and 6th floors of the West Bengal Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation building.

I was pleasantly surprised with my visit to the museum. It was so good! The wax sculptures were amazing and the setting that each sculpture was placed in is informative and well done. The sculptures range from local celebrities to international ones. The place is very clean and well maintained. One can walk around and take pictures with the sculptures. It was nice to see no one man handling the sculptures. The museum is in a really nice area of Kolkata.

It is a very good please to visit. Entry fee Rs. 250/- per head above 3years. Parking fee 50/- Two floor with wax idols of celebrity personnel's of India and abroad along with cartoon characters. You can enjoy the photo shoot the most. An hour or two is sufficient to spend with family. A restaurant is also there to enjoy your treat. Bonsai garden also to see.

It's a wonderful museum with wax statues of many film stars and historical figures. It is open from 12 00 to 07 30. Ticket fare is 250 per head. Can cover the whole place in around 2 hours. We are allowed to take photos with the statues without touching them. Recommended

It’s a very good place and great museum of famous people all over the world. All the statues are made by wax and very similar. Tickets are easily founded there and it’s start 9 am and close 7 pm. If anyone can visit Calcutta then everyone should visit this place. Very easy to find out. Just remember you are beside eco park Calcutta India and just beside of it the mother was museum.

I could have given 5 stars...but cannot because of the entry fee. It's too high for general public. As I have witnessed an old couple avoiding to visit because of the high entry fee. Apart from that I really enjoyed being there, people come clicks picture... though some more known personality can be added.
