You can enter through Eco park gate 1 or 2 to reach this place.. No need to pay extra fee to see this. Only you have to purchase ticket at the entrance of eco park which is 30 rs only.. The place is normally very calm except on the days when some functions or events are being arranged on this place.. You will surely enjoy this place if you are fond of Buddhism.. You can refer to my photos for more details..

Japanese themed area inside the eco park. Nearby to Gate no 1. You need not pay extra for entering the place. Very calm place. Artificial pond wooden bridge and bamboo forest make this place very attractive. A pagoda structure is present inside this area. A good place for photography.

A small taste of what ancient Japan looks like, this area is built quite well but not maintained properly. The paints are chipping off, the water dirty and so on. Even the boards are not readable at places. All together a good place and recommended for visit. The entrance fees is ₹10 and the restaurant is permanently closed.

Nice place for large groups, official party. Well decorated japanese theme throughout the park. Small wooden bridges over artificial canals makes the park more attractive. Only disadvantage is the absence of washroom nearby.

A real taste of Japanese culture and history, a place that has always managed to take my breath away with its beauty. It’s always a feeling of peace and happiness, visiting the little Japan of Kolkata. From the life-sized wind-chime made of bamboo to the monastery and its surroundings: this place makes me feel like I’m in my element. Of course, there’s the charming Japanese Restaurant & Garden within the premise, serving mouth-watering Japanese food, which is always a big attraction for me.
