Located on the bank of river Ganges this place was established and developed by the Portuguese even before the Britishers invaded India. Hence this place also has immense historical importance. This is the best place to see in Chandannagar. Situated at the bank of Ganga river. Well planned road antique lamp posts antique structures make the place beautiful. In the evening time a large numbers of people gather here to enjoy the essence of last French colony. A must visit place.

Love this place..a perfect place to hang out with friends and family at afternoon and evening..the street lights are very attractive.. There are seating arrangements beside river Ganga to enjoy the breeze and the beauty of surrounding.. There are lots of food stalls nearby..its an historic as well as cultural place

It is very popular and historical place of chandannagar. It is well maintained. It is nice good place for spendind time in morning/evening with fresh air. It is located bank of the Ganges. Beautiful and serene view of the Ganges. There are seating arrangements here and lots food stall available here.
