Very beautiful and well maintained. A good place to visit with kids. Its a peaceful place on Chorao Island in Goa. To get there you have to take a ferry across the river. Best time to visit would be in the morning. The ticket costs Rs.20. Also, you'll have to do a bit of walking here so come prepared

A cozy little area, with almost no crowd during the early morning hours when we were there. Best way to reach it is via the Ferry, which lands right outside the gate. Saw very few birds though as we did not take the motorboat tour like how others have recommended. You can walk along the length of the park to a view point, but you probably will see very few birds. Path is walkable with patches in between where the slabs have led to mud slushes.

Very nice experience in the middle of Mandovi river. We took boat for the trip. Boat driver was a good guide as well. He knows the name of almost all the birds. Amazing ride. One must try it if you visit Goa.

Walking of only approx an hour, forest looks very natural but small. We visited at around 3 pm and were able to see only 3-4 types of birds. Few people suggested that it's better to visit in the morning. Nearby is a govt ship service that can take car to the other bank for only Rs.10 and no charges for people

Nature at its best! Yet very close to human habitation. The place is best visited early in the morning when you can sight some birds. If you believe in just taking a leisurely stroll this would be ideal. There is a 1km human built pathway through the mangroves. You could also choose to take the motor boat ride @Rs750 for a group of 8. The ride itself is for around 30 minutes and quite a pleasure. The world here doesn't seem to recognise the beauty of this place and is quite abandoned. There are hardly any folks visiting this place. Take time out and see what this place has on offer. Try out the ferry ride to access this place.
