‘Casa Araujo Alvares’ after it’s owner Eufemiano Araujo Alvares. Mansion is now converted in Heritage Museum. This mansion is 250 years old mansion. This is typical Portuguese colonial home. Prayer room can be seen from the door of mansion. Museum is full of historic stuff. You can visit Typical office, dining hall, bedrooms, hall, nursery, lofts, kitchen.

Lovely old. Portuguese mansion. An eminent lawyer who lived a lavish life and his house hosts things of wonderful taste. Things from all over the world. Note able among these are a kerosene refrigerator, à safe room, old furniture, à massive dining room that will give you goose bumps. Well worth the 100 rupees entry fee. This Museum apart from the guide gives you a light and sound tour of this massive mansion

Highly overrated place. Very near to the Big Foot (Ancestral Goa). One should easily skip this place. The guided tour is not at all clear. The person (guide) there wants the guests to move out of the place at the earliest so that other groups can come in. They charge Rs100 per person as an entry fee which is highly unreasonable for what you see. Goa Tourism Corporation covers this place along with Big Foot in their South Goa package tour. Avoid this place if you can. Instead use this time to explore Ancestral Goa (Big foot) peacefully

Casa Araujo Alvares is a 250- year old mansion at Loutolim, Goa. It's located in near proximity to the Big Foot, which is why is worth visiting both on the same day.

Old Portuguese mansion with antiques. Ticket price is worth and it is well maintained. There is an audio guide throughout.
