A true paradise for those who love watching & capturing several varieties of birds in their lenses. A sense of early morning tranquil engages you from the very beginning till the end and you may want to stay longer watching the lotuses bloom but the road besides gets busy with traffic real quick. Pro tip : Carry a set of binoculars and a stool for a proper bird watching experience.

Carambolim lake is very clean and sound free place,cold climate compair to rest parts of Goa and can see different types of world Birds is the speciality of this place.

Many resident bird types and other wildlife here. Fish and crocodiles can only be seen around may, June, July time when water level is low. Same is true of the exotic birds like Flamingos that can only be seen as they take a migratory break on their journey. There is a good observation tower where you can spot all the different birds from, too many to mention all of them.
