Home converted cafe with a vibrant menu. The locality is very peaceful and nice to walk around. Food is value for money. If you wait till the evening you can catch some good art exhibition as well. But do check online for the exhibition timings in advance.

Cold eggs served twice in one sitting. Manager argumentative about the issue saying '...the eggs need to be cold as it will affect the cheese' simply put, eggs, sunny side up should never be served cold and if they were done fresh and ready to go out they would remain warm. To add insult to injury they were returned and then came back with the same toast, same plate and same eggs which had been warmed again...even after that they were cold again!!!!!Poor food, management and running of such a beautiful space. Be a long time before we return as it made a bad first impression. One star for the space itself but like other 'high end'food places in India, the space is gorgeous but there is no concept of western food, good management and quality control. Simple stuff but alas it is such a rarity in beautiful India.

Al fresco by bodega is a quaint cozy cafe located in adjacent to a gallery. The whole structure of a place with a courtyard and the tables by it side, on a rainy day was a wonderful experience. I went there mainly to buy the bread they make cuz a friend who buys from them recommended the place. I couldn't get the bread because they are made to order. But because it looked so pretty, i decided to sit down with a carrot cake and a cappuccino. I wanna say i was not impressed by the taste. The carrot cake felt a bit dry and i feel the cappuccino could use more coffee. Overall, i need to try more things to decide my take on the taste of the place.

Definitely a 4.5 star, perfect ambience with proper Goa feel. FOOD: We tried their jerk chicken with almond rice and hummus with pita bread. You will still find better hummus but jerk chicken was bang on. DRINKS: we had watermelon juice and cold coffee, cold coffe was exceptionally great. LOCATION: It is little far from Fountainhas if your are walking. VERDICT: should go

This place is very much "feel like home" with pleasant environment in the Portuguese era house. It is famous for it's wide range English Menu for Breakfast and calm sitting arrangements
