A little to the south of Palolem in Cancona region of Goa lies the Butterfly Beach. This beach, also known as Honeymoon Beach, is in the form of a small cove surrounded by dense trees. One of the most secluded and lesser-known beach of Goa, the butterfly beach is mostly accessible by a boat (ferry) ride from the nearby beaches, which only adds to the charm.

Very beautiful and small beach . Clean and clear. 2-3 km trek to go there which is through jungle. But it's safe journey

One of the offbeat beaches where you can come expecting to have a nice time. 1. Location - far, to be honest, and there are no road markings. Google maps directs reasonably well and you might need directions from locals. Bikes can go to about 100m from the beach. Cars, about a kilometre. 2. The beach itself is in the form of a small isolated bay. There are rocks at the two ends to dry or as a shade for changing. Sediments are pretty deep. However, you cannot venture too far (unless you know swimming) because the depth increases pretty rapidly. 3. There are no shacks or amenities in the vicinity. Be sure to carry food and water, and a change of dry clothes.
