First of all, this place does great charity work and all kinds of goodness. As a hotel, it's fine. The location isn't ideal. You need to walk up a ton of stairs to reach the street. There is no toilet paper (or bum gun) provided, but the water was hot and the place is clean. The staff is very nice and knowledgable about the area and things to do. The day I was checking out, my bus was leaving ISBT in Lower Dharamshala at 4:10am. The guy at the Tibet World front desk insisted on arranging the taxi and assured me that it would be waiting out front at 3:30. The taxi never arrived, and no other taxi stand in McLeod Ganj answers the phone at that hour. This resulted in us having to walk down the wet steep roads in the pitch black darkness with our bags to flag down a passing car. We missed our bus and lost the money we spent on it, which was more than the cost of the stay at Tibet World.

This place is really cool clam . The people are very helpful and whenever u see ther face they look happy and clam. We stay here for one night and the experience was very good

Nice area to understand Tibetan culture without going to Tibet , fantastic climate monks moving on the street will give some one visiting this place the view of Tibet in india.

There is a noisy bar across from the hostel. It is difficult to get good rest here. In fact, it’s an NGO about Tibet culture. But it is hard to interact with them. We are interested in this topic but we felt bored here.
