Description
The Shiva temple. The Temple was built in 1782 by Lama Dorjey Rinzing and is perched atop the Observatory Hill in Darjeeling and is an amalgamation of Hindu and Buddhist religions. It is a unique religious site where both religions coexist harmoniously.

I have always bow down and murmured few words on my lips....feeling those positive vibes inside my heart...i have never missed an oppurtunity to pray since the time it was built...i give it a five star as i have loved the feeling of being close to the almighty when ever i come across this temple.
