Timotheus Vermote
High quality theatre (usually). Nice atmosphere in a typical Brussels neighborhood.

Having officially opened 9th September 1988 as the theatre of the French community, the Varia Theatre offers something different to other theatres in the capital. Its secret? Showing confidence in young acts. It is very much appreciated in Brussels and with classics such as Phèdre it is easy to see why. It is recommended that you reserve your show in advance. If the main room has dance or theatre on, the second is likely to have concerts or jazz events. For a pleasant evening, the Varia Theatre is a good choice.

Nice theatre with friendly staff and good facilities (good views from almost all seats in the main room, "Grand Varia"). Interesting programme with several dance performances in addition to plays. Reasonable prices for most shows.

Little seats, no ventilation, no place for your average persons legs
