Great place for good plays, chaotic organisation...noisy basic eating halls, overwhelmed central bar. Culture yes, comfort ans style no.

The Théâtre Le Public was born from the passion, the will and the crazy dreams of two artists, Patricia Ide and Michel Kacenelenbogen. In 1994, they set up Le Public in the former Aerts breweries in Saint-Josse-ten-Noode, which they transformed into a performance hall, with the help of the scenographer, architect and friend Luc D'Haenens. The initiative, launched from own funds at the start, is daring.
