The 21 ha of the park are located on the plateau of Koekelberg; they present a long promenade network, comparable to the one of the Cinquantenaire, punctuated with lawns and trees clumps alternated with groves and flower-beds. The park also contains some fittings for leisure purposes, resting area, playground... The drawing of the park evokes the Royal monogram of Léopold II, under whose reign it was designed, simultaneously with the perspective of the Basilique du Sacré-Coeur and the very long one of the Boulevard Leopold II.

Quite well maintained park. Most you will find joggers and family hanging out in this place. The church at another end is quite old and entrance is from some other door not from front door. The view from stairs towards city is very nice. It's just next to Simon's metro station.

Beautiful park to walk through. Parrots flying overhead. Construction when we went though. Right by the basilica

Go to the basillic and have a top view of the city for a decent price. Better than the view from Atomium, because it's more close to the city center. Enjoy!

At this time of the year the park leading up to the Basilica is great for a walk. Beautiful trees with autumnal colours and a splendid avenue to wander through.
