The temple complex houses the largest collection of Buddha images in Thailand, including a 46 m long reclining Buddha. It houses a school of Thai medicine, and is also known as the birthplace of traditional Thai massage which is still taught and practiced at the temple.

This palace sits in the shade of Golden Mountain but its trees, statues and intricate ornaments are not less impressive. I was especially surprise to notice that the main entrance is fully wheelchair accessible up to the Palace interior garden thanks to some very sturdy metal ramps. Well done to whoever put this in place!

I am alone inside the temple... very unique experience... to be able to enjoy quietly... to see all the paintings... I am very happy for this opportunity!!!

Very serene and quiet place. Seems even more authentic than the bigger temples which are full with tourists.
