One of the largest temple compounds in Bangkok, has a very calming atmosphere and incredibly ornate exterior detail. The great hall where the 8 meter high Buddha statue is found is currently closed for renovation until the end of the year. The entrance to the right of the compound is the best for those who have mobility difficulties. Once inside, the area is mostly flat.

One of the temple that must visit among other famous temples. It has it own unique architecture. Unfortunately one section were under restoration and unable to get access to visit. But overall we enjoy our visit.

Beautiful Buddhist temple in the historic center of Bangkok from the 19th century with huge swing in front of it. The outer walls are lined with statues of Buddha. The surrounding yard is big with statues Chinese style. Inside the temple is ornate and beautiful.

This is one of the most revered Buddhist temples in Bangkok because of the sacred Buddha statue in the main chapel is one of the most beautiful Buddha statues casted in bronze from Sukhothai period. There are many attractions surrounding the temple such as the Brahman Giant Swing, Brahman shrine and many good street food stores.

This place is really sacred place. The main building is surrounded with many Budda status. Budda statues around it are donated by people in Thailand so each statues have their names on it. Looks really gorgeous!!! Many monks are praying here so you must respect them and keep quiet as possible. You need long sleeves and long bottoms. Looks like you can rent a cloth to cover your body. It is very sacred place so I was touched!! I’m sure you can enjoy great culture of Buddhism so must see place!!!!! Enjoy!!
