We had a nice 30 minutes walking around here. The locals were friendly & told us when/where to take our shoes off. Although woman should cover up shoulders & down past their knees, the rules seem to be a bit more relaxed in Thailand than China. I think as long as you show a little respect it's ok if your skirts a bit short.
