One of the best experiences during my visit of Thailand. I am not much into this type of sport but the atmosphere was breathtaking. All the people were shouting and the fighters performed their best.

In 1941, the Prime Minister of Thailand, Field Marshal Plaek Phibunsongkhram gave orders to build a national boxing stadium on Rajadamnern Avenue. Impresse Italiane All' Estero-Oriente won the construction rights, and the 258,900 baht project foundation stone was laid on 1 March 1941. Rajadamnern Stadium also spelled Ratchadamnoen, is a sporting arena in Bangkok, Thailand. Along with Lumpinee Boxing Stadium, Rajadamnern is one of the two main stadiums for modern muay Thai. The stadium has its own ranking system and championship titles up to middleweight (160 lbs)

Wow! What an awesome atmosphere, and such a cool experience. We had ringside seats and they were great! My wife is 1.6m and she could see everything no problem. They come around and sell beer as well as other drinks and snacks to you at your seat. This is a must see place, the fights were top notch and brutal!

Great way to spend an evening. Definitely a highlight during our time in Bangkok. As a foreigner, the ticket sellers try to have you buy ringside seats but 2nd or 3rd class are more than adequate - There is a chain link fence "blocking" the view but the gaps are huge & if its empty, you can easily stand up & look over. We would recommend taking warm clothes or a blanket as they have the aircon on, the fights are in the evening, & the seating in 2nd/3rd class are essentially concrete steps. Also, outside food/drink is not allowed (they will check bags) but you can buy snacks inside.

AMAZING experience. Such an authentic Muay Tai experience, and we got to meet the champion after the fight! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Bangkok.

Good stadium but when buying the tickets, they say to buy the more expensive tickets otherwise you will have to stand the entire time. This is just a lie and a sales tactic. Stupidly I bought the club tickets. Should have bought the 2nd class tickets
