Not worth THB200. Good idea but not quite there. Many cheap exhibits without much explanation. It is a waste of such a beautiful building. Head over to the Coin Museum instead, much more interesting for free.

This museum located near The grand palace and you can go directly by MRT which at Sanamchai station, which also the most beautiful interior design station as well. The main exhibition is shows what is Thai which have many interactive activities that everyone can enjoy and understanding more about our Thai history and culture. Also temporary exhibitions will have as well depend on timing that you will find.

First off, the building is beautiful. And if you're at all interested in understanding Thai culture and history, it's a great resource for building your knowledge of this country. The installations are really contemporary, and do a good job of keeping you engaged. It's not stuffy or stodgy at all. The main drawback is that there's really little reason to return after visiting once.

Recommend for families. Nice Royal Thai architecture and good exhibition inside. Sometimes they held an interesting event, such as Night at the Museum which provide a lot of local food to hangout. The Mrt is now connected directly to the museum which is very convenient.

A must-visit place to see things about Thailand...historical timeline, way of lives, costumes, etc. well-organized lights and sound presentations and very helpful staffs. Highly recommended. Easy access via MRT subway.
