Charoen Saeng Silom is located down the alley, and you'll immediately recognize it by its red sign and golden letters, and typically a huge crowd around the restaurant. The fatty skin part melts in the mouth! Whereas the meat part is quite tough, although I prefer it to be tender. Overall, the experience is good. The place is hole-in-the-wall type. Order the bigger portion ones to save yourself the trouble of ordering for seconds.

Extremely tender and delicious braised pork knuckle in gravy. Busy with both locals and tourists but it was just a short wait. A must if you’re around the area.

Nice pork nukckle rice. Definitely worth a visit when u r here. The price is very reasonable and the chili was so superb.

This place serves absolutely amazing stewed pork knuckle in a delicious aromatic gravy, befitting of its Bib Gourmand status. Prices are extremely reasonable for the quality and portion, costing less than $10 per pax for a hearty meal. The chili adds a nice spicy kick to the melt-in-your-mouth, caramelized pork, and the ice oolong tea will wash it all down very nicely on a hot day. Amazing stuff!

Throughly enjoyed the braised pork knuckle. It doesn’t look the part, but flavor wise, it was amazing! The pork knuckle I had cost THB147 that comes with rice and a cold herbal drink.
