Built in 1922, this wooden house-turned-museum gives a brief history of various neighborhoods in the district—Tha Tien, Wat Norarath, Tha Wang—via a walk-through exhibit that displays objects of old and vintage photographs. There are also corners where you can learn about the life of the neighborhood’s former famed residents, including former Prime Minister Pridi Banomyong.

A small museum about this part of Bangkok situated in a beautiful old wooden building. Most of the explanations are written only in Thai, though. But, if you speak a little Thai, the extremely friendly caretaker will personally give you a tour of all exhibits...
