So much to see in this museum. First of all, ticket lines get pretty long inside. I found a stand right outside of the museum near the food area that sold tickets for thee same price without any line. There’s a ton of things to do right outside of the museum. The area itself is really cute. The line getting into the museum was very fast. Be prepared to walk ! The museum has multiple levels, and every level is a different theme to see. The elevators are the slowest ever ! So be prepared to walk the stairs. You must see the library inside. It’s so beautiful ! Give yourself some time because I it will take a bit to see it all. They have a cafe inside for small snacks and drinks. Small tip: try to use the bathroom before you get inside. The bathroom is at the bottom and the line is the longest line you will wait in throughout yOur Amsterdam trip.

Visited the Rijksmuseum on my last day in Amsterdam and what a fantastic museum it is. The museum has a fine collection of paintings from the Dutch Golden Age and many fine works of art by Rembrandt, including of course The Night Watch. The museum also has a small Asian collection, covering South Asian and Far East the library and it's small coin collection and porcelain sections are all worth a visit too. I highly recommend the audio guide from the museum or download it to your phone. The highlights tour consists of about twenty items and useful if you only have 2 hours or less. I spent four hours in the museum and were it not for a plane to catch, I'd have spent the whole day in Rijksmuseum.

If you love European paintings, this place is like heaven. The Gallery of Honour was wonderful. I went right when they opened at 9am and there wereso little people I got to enjoy the quiet atmosphere. There's plenty to see here so if you have the time, maybe wear some shoes that are good for walking and support. If you have a few bucks to spare, get the audio guide. It's a great way to explore the museum.

Beautiful museum both inside and out. Has a central lobby area where you can draw your own portrait, for both kids and adults. Feels like you’re traveling through time as you walk through these halls and get the chance to look at beautiful art. A must see.

It was one of the most exciting museum experiences in my life. Started tour in the morning and finished at the end of the day. That was obviously too much, but thanks to museum's cafe, you can take a break and continue discovering wonderful art pieces in museum. ❤️ Strongly recommend to visit this museum in Amsterdam and don't run through the exhibits looking for famous ones. There are plenty of paintings that are not so well known and are just magnificent.
