This is a great area with some great windmills and great displays. The authentic old village is really good too and very interesting. The staff are very informative and interesting. Plenty of things to see. Well worth a visit it’s really pretty here.

Costs 5€ to get in, but it's only worth that if the windmill is actually working. But if the windmill is actually working, then it's great. It's amazing to see all the mainly wooden engineering pulling together to mill paint. And the balcony gives good views too. Be aware though that apart from the ground floor, getting up and down is via steep staircases. The hot chocolate with rum has a nice kick too.

Visit a piece of art history. Fascinating to experience the birth of the reds, blues and yellows that have shaped European Art over the years. A great, working mill with an interesting story. Definitely worth a visit.

The view was wonderful to me even though it was rainy day. I enjoyed to walk along the street to the river.

Lovely place with a lot of historical wind windmill. You can visit one of them (5€ adult / 2.5€ child). Also see a small neighborhood nearby. Only 40 minutes from Amsterdam with 391 bus line. If you have 3 hours, it's must see.
