Real Japanese food and kindness. Also very good product to buy and make your own dish at home. Don't forget to ask some cooking suggestion to owner.

Every time I happen to be in Amsterdam, I spare some time to visit Onigiri YA! Homemade onigiri with a variety of fillings to choose from. I believe I tasted most of them. Each and every was rich in taste and absolutely delicious. Onigiri YA! is very popular among locals. In lunch time, might happen that they completely run out of some filing options. The place itself is small with only few places to sit. But such setting makes it only more special and cosy.

I was extremely happy when i tasted my chicken and the spicy shrimp onigiri!!!! This is real japanese taste! They also provide some snacks and many drinks! I got the apple Coke and milk tea, the first time i got to taste them and they were good! Make a stop here for some onigiris!

During our stay in Amsterdam this is the only place we went to eat twice! We even took some of our friends the second time. It's a lovely little place full of delicious authentic onigiri. The owner is very friendly and is willing to help you choose and answer your questions. There are tons of different Japanese drinks and desserts. Good quality at a good price. Absolutely recommended!
