The Montelbaanstoren is a tower on bank of the Oudeschans, Amsterdam canal in the Netherlands. The original tower was built in 1516 as part of the Walls of Amsterdam for the purpose of defending the city and the harbour.

Great shopping values. The downtown next to the central train station is closed for traffic and houses thousands of high level shopping stores with great restaurants and play area for the kids. Almere is a short train ride from Amsterdam worth the trip!

Nice place to go for an early morning walk or an afternoon chill. Would recommend to anyone with a sightseeing interest

Great Place to visit! We've been here the second time and I love it! There is really nothing to do, but the Montelbaanstoren is worth a visit merely for it's beauty.

The place is so clean and organized, and in beside a supermarket where you can find any thing.
