Foam or Fotografiemuseum Amsterdam is a photography museum located at the Keizersgracht in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The museum has four different exhibitions at any given time in which different photographic genres are shown, such as documentary, art and fashion. Next to large exhibitions by well-known photographers, Foam also shows the work of young and upcoming photographers, in shorter running exhibitions.

They display a rotating series of photographic exhibitions. A larger space than you expect. If preparing a new exhibition part of the space is closed off. It depends on the artist or artists exhibited if you will end up enjoying a visit. Their own collection is small.

Beautiful place, friendly staff. The Wright Morris exhibit (until April 2020) genuinely blew my mind. Don't miss it.

Just the right size to spend an hour looking around. Some photos for all tastes. The building itself is worth a visit!
