An exceptional location, a rich place distorts. Imagine having dinner and having Rembrandt's works by your side? Here it is so. We had Good welcome is waiting for you in the restaurant, but an amazing welcome and table service thanks to Robin's magnificent work! The dishes are really of excellent quality and the surprise that I asked to reserve for my wife's BIRTHDAY was really exciting. Congratulations to the best restaurant in Amsterdam! We will definitely be back soon!!

I must say the oysters was delicious with the bacon bits and jalapeños. Very very mouth watering delicious. The wait was about 30 minutes which wasn't bad. My wife had the crab cakes. My daughter also tagged alone she had the buffalo wings with ranch dressing, and carrots with celery sticks. My craving for some delicious oysters was fulfilled and very satisfied.

Great service (5 stars to the waitress!) and locals, and decent portions. The food (5 course menu with wine) was great, but not quite matching the prices. Would give 4.5 stars if I could.

Love the ambiance in this place, great location. The food was excellent we had the parsnip soup, beef tenderloin and the deer special. All dishes were fantastic the venison was probably one of the best I've ever had. Definitely check this place out, I was nervous it was going to feel too tourist but it felt like authentic dutch.

The venue is stunning. A number of old houses that are connected together to form different rooms where you can sit with relatively few other guests. The waiters/waitresses have to run up & down very steep staircases (a feature of old Amsterdam architecture!) - very impressive! The soup (parsnip & pear) was delicious. The sea bass main was pretty good but the side of vegetables was some very greasy cabbage. The dessert was beautiful - chocolate mousse with apricot ice-cream - but too sweet for my taste. Certainly a wonderful place if you want to experience an authentic Amsterdam canal house.
