A must-do unique dining experience! if you're visiting Amsterdam, then you have to come to this restaurant - even though it's a little out of the way from the city centre, it is more than worth the trip. The USP is that everything you eat was picked from their garden that morning - and trust me you can taste the difference! Everything is so fresh. And you can tell they only have the best meat and fish suppliers for items they cannot grow on site. One of the best meals of my life.

We came early and was able to get a seat in the limited seating restaurant. They don't take reservations. So far this place is our favorite since we arrived in Amsterdam. Cute, clean, good quality food and friendly service. I saw that the stew was a specialty of theirs and ordered it. Amazing! All the sides are served family style and there is plenty to go around. I'd definitely come back if ever in Amsterdam again.

I love this innovative farm-to-table restaurant. The fixed menu always offers some nice surprises and is really inspirational (there were many "wow how can I do this again at home?!" around the table during our last visit) De Kas source all their products either from the greenhouse attached to the restaurant, or from local farmers which whom they have a long-standing relationship. The products are fabulous and the menu affordable for this level of quality. The restaurant sits under a wonderful greenhouse and the acoustics are pretty good - you can have conversations at a normal voice level, which is rare enough to be mentioned!

Well thought out design, concept and execution. Small yet powerful plates. Walked out extremely satisfied. Absolutely dreamy location. Definitely worth the effort. All self grown produce and regional products

Not one to normally leave reviews but....this is A must do dining experience when visiting Amsterdam. The food is next level fresh and the best part is the way they just serve you the menu ‘blind’ means you try some amazing things you might not have normally, and only what’s seasonally available. It’s a bit out of the centre but worth the 20 min walk or 8 min Uber ! The design is sleek and made an otherwise bleak day very bright :) We had brilliant service and was a birthday so the staff went out of their way to help us celebrate. You could come back, over and over as the menu changes constantly, and is reasonably priced!
