The Compagnietheater is located on the Kloveniersburgwal in Amsterdam, in the extension of Nieuwmarkt. This former church was renovated in the late ’90s by renowned architect Francine Houben. She combined the authentic pillars and windows with industrial elements. Her vision, mixing classic and modern materials, creates a timeless and stylish whole. A medieval building close to Rokin metro. Seems like a suitable place for company events or private movie hosting. But the seats are so shaky, gets scary sometimes when you're seated and someone is stepping up/down the row.

The new venue for the Blender Conference. Much bigger and really nice, there's a bar to get drinks, the temperature is good, you can be comfortable just wearing a t-shirt. The theater has way over 200 seats, although there's little space in between the chairs.

Nice building. Was there on the blender conference. Good place for a conference of only like 200 people.

A functional venue where gathering of around 200 or so can be managed well they had good cloak room very handy in weather like Amsterdam.
