Cafe AMOI is the little sister of the previously well-known Indonesian restaurant Sarang Mas. AMOI literally translates to ‘little sister’, which is reflected in its character as a restaurant that does its own thing. She is playful, original, modern and, most of all, she finds comfort in the company of others. That is what Cafe AMOI is all about. Located in the lively and up and coming Kinkerstraat, where guests are welcome to enjoy a lengthy and extensive dinner or to grab a beer at the bar. Cafe AMOI has a warm and cosy interior, with a relaxed vibe, allowing both young and old to feel at home. With a food menu containing classic Indonesian dishes, but also lesser known ones and a drinks menu ranging from cocktails to beers and other tasty refreshments. Whether it is in the restaurant, the lounge or at the bar, everyone is welcome. Asian, Indonesian. Approx cost for two people Rs 1200.

Best Indonesian food I have had. Been to a few places around Amsterdam, Bonaire, Bali, and Seattle. This place is great! So many great dishes to share. Wonderful flavors, great drinks, great service, lively atmosphere. Seattle needs a good Indonesian restaurant badly. Please save us and come open one over here!

Overall atmosphere and interior design is great. Food was decent but not the best Indonesian ive had. Could use a bit more flavouring in some of their dishes but overall I'd say worth a visit. Their floral ginger and orange lemonade was a surprise! Would recommend! Not too sweet but super refreshing. Service was great.

I have eaten here twice so far and I can truly say that this place is a lovely little hidden gem in Amsterdam West. You could easily pass the entrance without knowing. The food is terrific Indonesian cuisine packed with flavours you'll love. The interior is quaint in a nice way and the staff are wonderful. They have got a great concept and the drinks menu is well thought out too... I will become a regular here..

Nice little cosy Indonesian restaurant. Good place to go with friends and discover many dishes to share. Staff are friendly and bubbly.
